San Antonio

I was able to spend the weekend with my dad while he coached the bowl game Texas vs. The Nation in San Antonio. College seniors from around the country are chosen to participate. My dad coached for The Nation side along with June Jones as the offensive coordinator and head coach Jerry Glanville. In his downtime, we had the chance to check out San Antonio and the Alamo.


The game was great. I had a field pass and was up close with some of the nation's most talented seniors. The coolest part was seeing my dad back in action. Magnolia Lane Photography moved into action sports for the day and it was so cool to use my different settings to capture images in stadium lighting and quick action shots.

    OK- that's just not fair! I cried when I saw these last few of a wonderful coaching career coming to an end. That one of him walking away from his coaching whistle on the 50 yard line stirs the emotion in me.
